I'm celebrating Son getting a place at Swansea Uni through Clearing. And it's Dtr's 12th birthday on Saturday.

We are having a family barbecue at my sister's on Saturday, so instead of birthday cake, my daughter is having minted lamb chops and sausages. She has already had a birthday cake though, just last week. You will have to wait for more of my trip report to find out about that.

Oh no its not payday -

But yes a whole week off.

Im going on a girly trip with DD - not to DLP though (we're not quite as adventurous as you)

We are going down to London by train (shes never been to London or on a proper train) , visiting London, meeting Rob there, going to Chessington World of Adventures with him then going down to Portsmouth for a couple of days. We are planning to have loads of fun

Hildasmuriel - Small World clearly doesn't want to read your trip report yet as she was encouraging your chocolate and wine, so can I suggest you PM it to the rest of us as soon as it's done and make Small World wait until later - she won't mind

does anyone know if the shareholders club email address are good at getting back to people. i got my shares confirmation today and was trying to join only the link to print out your form just goes to an error page. so annoying i really wanted to send it off today

does anyone know if the shareholders club email address are good at getting back to people. i got my shares confirmation today and was trying to join only the link to print out your form just goes to an error page. so annoying i really wanted to send it off today

I had this problem, I ended up doing a few times and still got the error page so couldn't print it. I rang them and they said they had several applications from me! I think when you fill it in online they get a copy of it and then you just need to print and sign it to post in with your proof of shares.

They told me over the phone they would just accept the online app they had received (didn't have to sign anything!) and all I had to do was scan my proof of shares and email it to them - so easy, can't remember now if I then phoned to check they'd got the proof ok or if they emailed me back, but it all worked out ok.

So I'd give them a ring - they do speak english, although the first person I spoke to went to get someone else - think it was my brummie accent

Afternoon everyone, had a lovely day out with my mum. Managed to pick up some bits for Kyra's Princess Party i'm having in October and my mum also got her a adorable light shade for her bedroom when its decorated.

I'm now pooped and looking forward to relaxing this evening.

thanks for the reply suze. they emailed me back and said it was fine to just send on a copy of the contract note for the shares that i didnt need to sign anything. when i came home tonight i got an email saying they had a problem with their website and could i email them my postal address. they really dont have the most reliable website lol. at least its all sorted. i had explained in my email that i have a trip booked so the guy said he would send out a temp cert just in case but i should have my card in plenty of time.

sounds like you had a good day emma. i am just back from town i am wrecked lol. i met up with friends and ash had a ball playing with my friends daughter all day.

i had free burger king

such a shame i have to go all the way to dlp for a decent meal

yeah i went into work this morning and faxed it to them. cant wait to get my card now. i already have a space waiting in my purse
