Morning all,

I'm :sad1: Looks like we won't be going in Sept as we had originally planned because I have started suffering with SPD and there's no way I will be able to do all the walking, let alone go on any rides. Thankfully, we'd not mentioned it to Lottie. We're now thinking of going in March/April after baby is born.

Sorry you can't go Nicky.:grouphug:
Sounds like it's for the best though, try to rest up as much as you can.

Spent the weekend at Alton Towers and had a great time, but saw the two shows for the first time, and thought they were just laughably dreadful! Must say the children enjoyed them though which I guess is the point.
Am really feeling like I need a Disney fix and October seems a long way off!

ARGH!!! My future Mother In Law just did my one major pet peeve. They hardly ever see us, yet she still insisted on putting the TV on all through dinner. Call me old fashioned, but I really cannot stand TVs in dining rooms. I do, however, accept that its their choice. But, I do think to turn it on when guests are there is just disgustingly rude in MHO.... They only get to see us a couple of times a year (Because they never visit us and we can't afford train tickets all the time) yet Emmerdale is still her top priority!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! I'm having one of those days where everything she does really bloody annoys me....!!!!

Sorry for the angry rant.... I had to say it somewhere and you poor guys are the victim of my wrath! :grouphug:

They have a tv in there dining room? That is deep!

Sending you a  Bob :)

They've got TVs bloody everywhere and it really really annoys me. I mentioned that we aren't planning on having a TV when we get our own place (We want a Monitor to hook the Playstation, etc up to and we'll watch DVDs) and they went mad... Hopefully it'll put them off wanting to come to stay...!!

 Thanks Emma.

I think thats a great idea Bob, i wish i could get rid of my televison but i'm too obsessed with my reality tv shows and i wouldn't survive 1 minute :rotfl:

My in laws have a TV :happytv: in their dining room too and it drives me MAD!! :furious: Especially when trying to get DD to eat a roast dinner that MIL has made :rotfl:

Welcome to the world of in-laws - believe me, there will be plenty more they will do that will drive you up the wall in time! So long as they are all small things then try to keep smiling - you only get one family  Remember you can come here and tell us all about it when they annoy you!! :rotfl:

Robert watches Heroes (But he could buy the boxsets) and we watch Eurovision once a year. I just figure it would be a waste to have a TV for that! :lmao: So we're thinking a nice Monitor, and then spending the money we'd spend on a TV license on Boxsets.... :goodvibes

I wish it was only small things. His mother doesn't like me because I'm not skinny (After she'd first met me she asked Robert if: "She'd be happier if she lost some weight?") and she sees me as the sole cause for our descision not to have kids. She's tried to imply I need therapy on three seperate occasions for reasons that are completely not her business. She also put the kibosh on my dream wedding (I wanted to run away, just us two, and get married with two witnesses pulled in off the street.) and she said we were being selfish and mean and would never speak to us again (Which I was all for tbh... Robert objected.). She constantly goes on about my size which really doesn't bother me in the slightest as I don't think I'm quite elephant sized.... They just don't bother with us, never try with us, but they give Robert's brother everything. My main bugbear is that his Mum still compares me to his brothers ex (She loved her) and sometimes its all I can do not to choke her!

Ooooh dear, that turned into a rant, didn't it?! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:hug:Well I would have to agree that those are quite big things!!

How did you manage to not throw something at her??? I don't think that there is any excuse for her saying those things - grrrrrrrrr!! Does Rob support you on this? If he does then at least you can talk to him about it all and he can reassure you that she's just being a mad old witch who clearly isn't getting enough sex! Best off avoiding her as much as possible I'd say! :lmao:

One thing to be grateful for though - without her there would be no Rob :lovestruc

p.s. I think your wedding sounds fab and I'm loving following all your plans, if you'd eloped we'd have missed out on all of that!

He does support me... However, he is still very attached to her and doesn't stand up to her as much as I'd like... But, I just keep telling myself that we have a hell of a distance gap between us so we'll be fine! :goodvibes

I daresay, they've been good this weekend. We've had a nice weekend and I have pics to show when we get home tomorrow... :goodvibes

(((hugs))) Bob

Well I went back to the dentist about my 'tooth' (had an extraction last Tuesday) - turns out I'd got an infection in the gum, so had it washed out and cleaned and I'm on antibiotics for the next 7 days - isn't it amazing how one tooth can affect the whole of your body? I felt so rotten over the weekend!
Another good thing was that British Gas finally decided I was covered for the tank in the airing cupboard and they've fixed the ballcock, now the insurance can get on with pulling the kitchen ceiling down and redecorating (after the asbestos test) - life certainly hasn't been boring since getting back from DLRP!

:hug::hug: That's good then! :hug::hug:

I'm glad you enjoyed the weekend - look forward to the photos! :goodvibes

Oh dear Diane I hope it starts to feel better soon. I remember having a tooth abcess one year when we were on holiday in France. I was in agony but no way was I going to a dentist in France - its bad enough in this country

I'm just glad it waited until we'd been home 3 days! I was given the choice of root canal treatment or an extraction, I took the extraction!

Hope you feel better soon Diane:hug:

I had my friend treat my back today. It seems to have done the trick although she said the problem was more towards the top of my back not lower. Whilst massage is nice the elbows aren't:eek:
