Afternoon all :goodvibes

What is everyone up to today? I feel absolutely shattered, i have been up for work the past 2 mornings at 4.50 :scared1: I should have gone to bed early last night but instead i sat up and watched Marple.

This afternoon i should be cutting the grass but i really cannot be bothered to do it so instead i might start sorting out what to take with me next week. I am more excited about this trip than i have been for any of the others.:cool1:

I feel your pain. I have to get up at 4.30 from Friday for 3 shifts! if they are like my last month at work I won't be finishing on time either:headache:

:yay:

My cat is giving birth right now. She had a litter earlier this year and we ended up keeping both kittens. When we took her to the vets to be spayed they couldn't do the op because she was expecting again.

So far we have one black one with white feet and a little white stripe on its nose. Its so cute:lovestruc (Repeat after me - must not get attached, must not get attached, must not get attached......)

Well, like that proverbial bad penny, I'm back! We had a lovely, relaxing time in London ... despite the weather! :rotfl:Good luck, I hope it sells quickly. :wizard: :wizard: Two houses that are up for sale in my road have both sold in the few days I was away.

Welcome back! :goodvibes No sale yet but we've had 4 viewings. It's hard work keeping it clean all the time, especially with DD!!

Awwww, how exciting!!! Can't wait to see photos!

Had some bad news yesterday, my Nana (88) has had a massive stroke and is in hospital. Prognosis is not good. Really sad that I'll never be able to have a chat with her again, not looking forward to telling DD. :sad1:

So sorry to hear about your Nana Jenny:hug:

We now have three kittens. Another one was born at 1 in the morning (another black and white one) and I woke up this morning to find another one (looks just like its mummy, shes a Bengal)

:tigger: I have my very own Tigger:tigger:

So sorry to read this.

Ok so that would be a giant picture of my kittens:lmao:

What did I do wrong:confused3

Thanks guys  - you won't believe what's happened today...

Mum went in this morning and the nurses had got Nana washed & dressed in her own nightie and sat her up in bed (she was even wearing her glasses!) but she still couldn't speak or respond.

By the time my brother went to visit this afternoon she was drinking by herself from a cup.

When Mum called later she had taken the menu off my Aunt and ordered her own meal! She has a major assessment tomorrow with all the specialists which should give us a better idea of what to expect next but I still can't bellieve it. I don't want to get my hopes up too much but my Nana sure is a fighter! :thumbsup2 Will keep you updated.

p.s. Fifi Rose - is your cat a Tiger - those are huge!!! :rotfl2:

:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2:

I've no idea how to make it smaller:blush: I'm quite proud of myself though. Its only taken me a few years to get that far.

Great news about your Nana. Will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Looks like we might be joining you in December. I think we're going to go to Dreamcastle 3rd - 5th. Its a surprise though so not going to tell the girls until the day:yay:

My cat looks like the one in the middle. The other two look like the cat along the road:rolleyes1

That is such good news Jenny. :thumbsup2 Hope your Nana continues to improve.

Fiona ~ wow, what have you been feeding them on? :lmao:

Soooooo beautiful. :cloud9:

As for the size of the photo ~ I've never used Imageshack but I am guessing you are using the wrong code to copy and paste on here??? Or else you're enlarging the photo before you're copying so it's pasting a large one on here?

Hopefully someone else can help. :goodvibes

Try checking the image size when it has been uploaded, on Photobucket you can select a smaller image size.

I've taken the post off as it makes the thread unreadable :goodvibes

Have a look at the sticky with video tutorials to load up photographs and try posting on the test board here to perfect the size :)

Keeping everything crossed for you :grouphug:

Well the consultants today confirmed she has not had a stroke after all. She was able to recognise all her visitors today too which is a really good sign. Early days as to what happens next though.

Thanks to all of you for your kind thoughts - means a lot! :grouphug:

Had some extra good news today too, my friend had a baby boy this morning!! Sadly she's just moved to Devon but we're going to visit her in a few weeks for a big cuddle!! :lovestruc

Oh, that's good news that it wasn't a stroke, continued    for you and her, and great news about your friend's baby.
