Ouch! I've done that one before---tried to convince my kids they were just a little "dark" on the bottom. They didn't fall for it.

Speaking of cookies---I spent Valentine's weekend baking a slew of cookies for our youth group fundraiser. I just wanted to say thanks for all those great cake mix recipes ya'll posted! They were so yummy---you know how "quality assurance" works when you have to bake for someone else !
I made the lemon cookies with a lemon glaze, chocolate chip, double chocolate chip, snickerdoodles, and peanut butter drizzled with chocolate.

Hmmmmm.....makes me hungry for some cookies now. I'll have to stay away from the DIS though so I don't make the same mistake! LOL!!!!

You mean ya just didn't hear that wimpy little beep on the stove timer? It isn't the fault of DIS or the music - must be the manufacturer of the appliance. After all shouldn't they KNOW we're multi-tasking all the time?
