OT: new Ebay account how to get feedback?

I'm wanting to open an ebay account but how do I build up feedback ? Am I understanding things correctly that you don't get feedback for buying items anymore and only selling? How is someone supposed to build up a positive feedback rating this way! Thanks in advance

You still get feedback for buying items - in fact, you can get ONLY positive feedback (that was the change - sellers can't leave neutral or negative feedback for buyers anymore). Of course, the seller could choose NOT to leave feedback also (rather than leave a positive that isn't warranted).

So, open that account and start buying (or selling)!

Can you still write what you want in the feedback, to alert other Sellers if the buyer is a NPB? Like, "Yes, I am positive this buyer is a NPB."

I don't think so - I suppose you could try, but my guess is that the feedback would be removed. I wouldn't want to add a (+) sign to the buyer, even if my words were negative. I don't even bother to look at buyer's feedback anymore because I don't think it really represents if they are a good buyer or not. I do have my preferences set up to block buyers with multiple unpaid item strikes though.
