So, we were probably one of the last households in America that didn't have a Netflix subscription. Until a week ago. And now I need professional help. I have 150 movies in my queue already. I'm lucky if I can squeeze in 3 movies/week - 2 movies is more realistic. I need more time!!!!!! Where can I sign up for 3 extra hours for each day?

HELP ME!!!!!!!!!

We tried out Blockbuster last summer and loved it but didn't subscribe past their 1 month trial.

Now we are onto Netflix which we will keep. We just signed up last weekend too. Unfortunately we didn't get our 2 movies back in time for new ones for this weekend! ARGHHH!

So we are watching the online movies. Oh well, better than nothing. Last week we watched King of Kong and Wedding Daze. I thought King of Kong was hilarous. I hope we can find another one online that surprises me like that one did.

I've been a Netflix member since 2003 and it seems as though I consistently have about 50 movies in my queue at a time. I can't seem to keep up with releases or movies from awhile back that I never got to see. I just recently got around to watching the 1st of the 3 Pirates of the Caribbean movies. The other 2 are in my queue. I'm kicking myself for putting it off because I REALLY liked the 1st one and can't wait for the 2nd one to arrive.

I agree with needing more time in the day to watch DVD's. I wish I could watch 2 of them in a day but right now I'm doing 1 a day so I've consistently got a movie at home. It's working for me. Hopefully I'll get through most of them by the end of the summer!

We like watching old tv series from Netflix. DD 7 is loving The Waltons  and I love watching it with her. Next we're on to Little House. ;)

When we still had Blockbuster we went through all the seasons of Full House- she loved that so much I asked my brother to burn some DVDs for her so she can watch them any time. When she's older I want to share Who's the Boss and Facts of Life with her! I love that these old shows are available to watch now :lovestruc

I love love LOVE netflix!! I just finished watching one now. I have 50 in my queue. Our local video store was charging $4 a rental!!! I only wish I had joined netflix sooner. We have had it for about a month and I have definetly gotten my monies worth. I try to get them in the mail ASAP. Weekends and that holiday last week kinda screwed me lol.
I have enjoyed getting the movies from when I was kid to watch with mine. I just got the Monster Squad... they loved it. I am rackign my brain to try to come up with more movies they would like. I tend to spend quite some time on their site browsing. My kids dont like the 'kiddie movies' anymore... more toward comedy.
It is so great watching the old shows again. I have Alf in there. My son is into Quantom Leap as well.
Whos the Boss was a great show... I loved Mona lol
It makes goign to get the mail fun... not all bills anymore

We've been with them for over two years now, and love them - the only time we go to the theater now is when the kids really want to see something. We even gave Netflix subscriptions as gifts for Christmas - my brother loved it!

That is an awesome idea!!! My dad's birthday is coming up, and he's got everything under the sun and wants for nothing - he'd love this for the documentaries and old westerns. Thanks!

We just did the gift subscriptions to both dads for Father's Day. I was a little concerned about my dad because he is not very computer oriented, and my mom is even less so!! BUT, they love it! They think it is the best thing ever. They keep telling us what movies they have watched and what is coming next.

My kids watched Short Circuit last weekend, they loved it. They had just seen Wall-E so they were into the robots.

They were young for it though. It was rated PG but that was before PG13. I couldn't believe the language in it but we are a pretty laid back family. My 6 year old thought Johnny-5 was really funny. She actually talked about him today, she was saying that robot could really read books fast. It was so funny because it came out of no where in the back seat of the van!

So what are the good and obscure movies to watch that are online on Netflix? When I browse through they either look really bad or we have already seen them.
