OT: Need Quick Advice on Pin Trading Rules

I tried on the collecting board but there's not much activity today. Hopefully someone here might know the answer.
On the back (of the pin) I know it has to say (c) Disney. Question is, can it say (c) Walt Disney Co. and not have any trouble trading with the CM's? TIA

that should be fine to trade. Where did you purchase the pins at? If you go to www.pinpics.com you can search for your pin and if you can post a picture or let me know by the pinpics # can determine what types of pins you have

Thanks for replying, they are pin #1250 and 1249. Looks like it's (c) Walt Disney Inc. Both from the late 80's.

If its just to trade in the park, the CM's will trade anything, esp with kids - I know there was quite a bit of info about the (sp? Sedona, no Sedaka, no - some plastic Disney pin!!) but when we were there last Sept, dd and I noticed they (CM's) had them on their pin lanyard, so we were careful...

Now, on a side note, I got my mom a name tag from the Disney Christmas shoppe and had it delivered to our resort, so it was there when we got there, and she wore it with her Pin Lanyard (I got her some pins from Disneyshopping and ebay) so when kids would come up to her to trade, she'd get this, not my favorite - dd help?!! Lots of times I'd explain that she could trade if she wanted to, and the two times it happened the girls were young and cute and with their dads!!

So keep in mind, its Disney, its magic!! Go with an open heart!!!

The general rule is anything with (c) Disney on the back is tradeable. You will get the odd castmember here and there that says they will not take a type of pin (Sedesma, Disney Store). Just try trading that pin with another castmember later then. You'll have a blast!

Any pins that are ©Disney are tradable. I have quite a few older pins and have had a few cast members tell me they can't take a pin because it doesn't have the Pin Trading Logo on it. I just trade another pin and trade that 'offending pin' later.
