OT: Need Opinions on Christmas Gift For DD

DD11 wants a camera for Christmas, so that is what we are getting her. The only "big" thing that DD7 (almost 8) wants is an American Girl Doll. While I don't have a problem getting her one (we have about 15), they don't play with them a huge amount. They have friends over, and they will play with them. She says she wants this doll, Ruthie, all the time. So, do I get her the doll or do I get her a camera like DD11 is getting? She hasn't asked for a camera, but I'm sure she would like one, too.

LOL! I just needed a little nudging towards the doll. So, the doll it is. DD11 just informed me that she is going to ask Santa for a really big gift like a laptop. She's such a funny child

My Dniece loved the American Girl dolls that I gave her when she was 8 (not the expensive line ones---got a code from a budget board thread about 3 years ago). She loves it when I get her name in the Christmas family picks.
