Okay I know this is the families thread, but all good parents have to have "alone time" every once in a while right???
I have a quite a few things planned over the next year or so with the family, and my dh recently shared with me that he wanted to go somewhere "just us", and I totally agree!!
Now I need to plan something that is:
-very budget friendly
-romantic
-relaxing
-a fairly short distance to travel ( I don't mind flying it can just up the price of the trip a little!) We live about 2 hours north of St. Louis.
-Summer is pretty well booked up for us so we'd probably need to go in the early fall.
Any places where you dis mom's and dad's like to go for a long weekend getaway?? I'm all ears...........................

And, you have someone else making you coffee and breakfast. Whatever you decide, enjoy!
Just like when we got out on ocassion and we both agree that I'll be the one to have a few drinks ( if we are driving of course) and HE ends up having all the fun
I guess women are just meant to be the responsible ones

) Maybe the bookstore or walk the mall. Anything where we are together works for us.
Sleep late the next morning before getting the kids around noon. Have fun.
and the kids are old enough now that I don't worry about them so much ( like when they were babies!).
