OT: Need help with selecting Leapster Game for DS3:

Does anyone have one of these games for their kids? I am not sure which one to get the Leapster2 or the Leapster Max. I believe the Max you can play on the TV as well, but the Leapster2 you can track you child's progress on the computer. If you have one or are going to get one for your child this year which way to go?

I do know the first version where you just use it as a handheld game is going to be $30 at TRU on black friday, but I think I want to go up a notch.

Please tell me your opinions. I am trying to figure out my route for Black Friday and which one to get ds3.

I wish I could help. I was going to buy DD the leapster2 for her birthday but we got something else instead.
The thing that I would shy away from on the max is the stylus. Kids tend to drag it around by the stylus and I'm not sure if the game would work without it attached if it broke (or it might get lost).

Princess is beyond those toys. She had the basic Leap Pad book years ago, but I don't even know where it is!

I'm sure whatever you get him, he will love!
