OT-need Christmas ideas

I have finally reached the point where I say no more junk for the stepkids and I mean it. It is not a 'step vs bio' thing, it is a 'they already have everything and don't even use it and then I have to clean their rooms and get rid of the stuff in 6 months after they have never even opened it thing'. So this year, DSD will be getting some scrapbooking stuff and maybe some art supplies or organizational stuff for her room and that will pretty much be it (except for gift cards and money). DSS is harder. He doesn't really do too much when he's here other than go outside and play. He will probably get a new bike or scooter but I truly can't think of anything else for him. We have gotten gift cards before to go do activities and it has been a struggle to use those. I am thinking that adopting or sponsoring something might be nice but I need ideas. Help?

One present that DS got when he was 4 years old from his grandparents was an adopted flamingo from the local zoo. He got a picture of it and a certificate.

We made sure we took him to the zoo a couple of times so he could see "his" flamingo. It made for a fun day out for all of us.

Boys are hard as they get older. I haven't even started thinking about Christmas yet and I know I need to get started. My 13 year old wants a guitar and lessons. Ugh.
