I'm having a bunco party at my house with the neighbor ladies. I will have about 14 people. I wanted to supply an alcoholic drink that was easy, cheap and yummy. I could just buy the bucket stuff but was wondering if anyone had a wonderful recipe they could share. Thanks!

Pomegranate Margarita

I had this drink at a local resteraunt and loved it so I made it at home and it was so yummy.

I rimmed my glass with sugar, then I then bought the premade Margarita mix with the alcohol in it already then I added Pomegranate juice and a slice of lime. YUMMO :thumbsup2

I like peach martinis. Vodka, Peach Schnapps and a spalsh of OJ.

Not sure what it's called but it's cheap and yummy

peach schnapps and 7-up

You can buy the $5 schnapps. I can't tell the difference between that ( I think it's called Mr Boston) and the Peachtree

Vodka, cranberrry juice and 7up mix together (add as much vodka as you like)

WHISKEY SOUR PUNCH: Whiskey, a can of frozen concentrated orange drink/juice (I like Five Alive), a cup of lemon juice (bottled), a can of crushed pineapple and 7up or Sprite...looks pretty in a punch bowl with a floating ice ring with water and a whole bottle of marachino cherries frozen in it

and yet another, do all of the above, just use rum instead of whiskey, RUM PUNCH!

Have fun! We have bunco this week too:woohoo:

Sangria

Tastes best if you make up a pitcher-ful the night before.

750 ml Merlot wine
2 oranges
1 lemon
1/4 cup orange liqeur (Triple Sec)
1/4 cup sugar

Wash and slice up one orange and the lemon. Put the fruit in the bottom of the pitcher. Add sugar. Use a long handled wooden spoon to smush the sugar into the fruit. Add wine, liqeur and the juice of the remaining orange and stir. Wait at least an hour and preferably overnight to drink. I like it best over ice. After you drink up the sangria, the leftover fruit is quite yummy too.

Malibu rum, pineapple juice and a splash of cream...shake with ice and serve (or serve over ice). Pretty much a liquid pina colada -- yummy goodness (and you can also mix it up by adding banana liqueur.

Another drink I love to make is Amarula, raspberry vodka and cream. You can make it a little less expensive by using an off-brand Bailey's type rather than Amarula. It's like a chocolate raspberry truffle in a glass.

One of our Bunco groups faves is TGI FRIDAY's Mudslide Mix. It actually comes with the alcohol in it. All you need to do is throw in the blender with some ice. We like to line the glasses with Hershey's syrup and then pour in the drink. Very yummy!!

Another one I've done is what I call Caribbean Rum Punch. I just pour some Captain Morgan into a punch bowl with some sherbert and Dole Orange Strawberry Banana Juice along with some Dole Pineapple Juice. Was a big hit. I think I even added some Sprite to it to make it fizz.

Have fun. I love ladies night!

Peach sangria - mix the following:

1 bottle (750 ml. or approx. 25 oz.) white zinfandel
1 cup & 1 oz. (9 oz.) peach schnapps
1 1/2 cups (12 oz.) peach nectar
3 cups (24 oz.) lemon-lime soda

Here's one from a friend of mine called "Slush":

1 cold bottle 'cold duck' or any white wine (I usually use Strawberry Hill
with strawberry jell-o)
1 can pineapple juice (small)
1 cup sugar
1 large pack jell-o (any flavor)
1 1/2 cups boiling water
Sprite/7-Up/Sierra Mist

Dissolve jell-o in water. Add sugar and dissolve. Mix in pineapple juice
and wine. When frozen, spoon into glass and top with Sprite.

UV Blue Bombsicle

1 part UV Blue
3 parts lemonade
Serve over ice in a lowball glass.

Yummy!! Tastes like those bomb pops we used to get as kids.

We do Sangria at Bunco, too. It's so much easier than mixing drinks on game night... and it goes a long way!

I had this at a shower over the weekend- it was called white Sangria I think.

Anyway, it was white wine, club soda or 7up, sliced kiwi's, granny smith apples, and green grapes. It was sooooo good and I am not even a white wine drinker!!

Boubon Slush:

4 tea bags brewed in 2 cups of boiling water
12 oz frozen orange juice concentrate
12 oz frozen lemonade concentrate
2 cups sugar
7 cups water
2 cups bourbon

Mix together in a 1 gallon plastic container, freeze, spoon into glass and top with clear soda (Sprite, 7up, Ginger Ale, Fresca...)

I usually have at LEAST 5 gallons of this in my freezer over the holidays as everyone LOVES it!

Wow! Thanks guys... these all sound awesome. I'm either going to have to have bunco more often or become a lush...lol. Now I just have to decide. I like the idea of making something the night before to make it easier of just serving at bunco. Thank you Thank you

Wow! Thanks everyone one ....these all looks awesome. Really
beverage consulting services are great. Affordable drinks at cheap prices. Really enjoyed it
