OT: Need a new dress

Since I live in the middle of NOWHERE, LOL, it looks like I'm going to have to buy a dress to wear to a friend's wedding online--I have no time to drive anywhere(one hour to the nearest mall) and with two small kids shopping is no fun anyway....any suggestions on a good place to buy a nice dress? I do want something really nice--and since I don't usually dress really nice I don't know where to shop! (My clothes generally come from the Gap, Old Navy or TJMaxx!) How about shoes? I'd like some really strappy, high heeled sandals--what's a good brand for those?

sometimes Chadwicks.com has some relaly nice dresses and some on sale even you can also buy shoes to coordinate with the dress, but I dunno if they have strappy. I have seen really cute strappy shoes at payless.com, but that was more around prom time so they may not have them anymore..Good Luck!!!

I just bought a really cute dress online from JC Penney. The price was decent as well. They also have an online outlet with even better prices.

I saw some REALLY cute strappy shoes at Macys. You can actually go through Amazon and browse a lot of the different sites (like Macys and Nordstroms) all at the same time.

Thanks you all! I had looked at amazon, but was a little overwhelmed at the sheer volume of dresses! I didn't see what I was looking for at Talbot's, but a couple of maybe's at Ann Taylor. I'm headed to Macy's now.....
