...onsite or off. I'm especially looking for fresh croissants, kaiser rolls, and french-type bread or baguettes, not so much the specialty sweet treats. Not that I don't  those too! Any suggestions? Thanks! :)

Pastry shop in France might be able to have those items.

Main Street Bakery in MK. The cinnamon buns are delicious and huge!

agree with pp s and we also love the Goodings Supermarket in the Crossroads center opposite DTD, theres also a Panera Bread somewhere in the area not sure where

Publix and SuperTarget stores, both in the immediate vicinity of WDW, have excellent in-store bakeries...

publix is where my local MIL swears by. And I've had their cakes and they were yummy!

OP here...Thanks for the responses, everyone! :goodvibes It looks like Publix might be our best bet, especially since we'll be doing a small grocery stop anyway.

oh yeah, publix is great. florida native, so i take it for granted. their buttercream is divine.

Has anyone bought one of Publix' decadent cakes? Any favorites? We need a special cake in Nov. but don't want to gamble on one of DW "special" cakes and we don't like fondant that so many of the special cakes use.

Chocolate Avalanche is really good, as is the Raspberry Elegance. Honestly, my fave is a Publix white cake with pineapple filling and buttercream. They can decorate them any way you like.
