I just had a "Emma" moment and forgot to turn the cooker on. Was standing there for 10mins wondering why the spaghetti isnt cooking LOL.

That must be a Medway thing. I put our curry in the oven last night and then 20 minutes later wondered why it wasn't ready. I'd forgotten to switch the oven on at the plug :lmao:

I even did the very same thing when having the wifes friend over for dinner too! And that was only last week!

Don't worry, I've done exactly the same thing in the past and worse:

The other week I was changing some water in my fish tank, so I was emptying it from the tank to a bucket using a hose. The bucket was getting full, so I pulled the hose out of the bucket to stop it filling.

a good couple of seconds later...

I then realised that my bedroom floor was getting rather wet because you need to pull the hose out of the tank to stop the water from leaving the tank and not out of the bucket :rotfl:

 I don't feel so stupid now :lmao:

what can I say; I'm "special" at times :rotfl:

I'm also grateful I have laminate wood flooring in my room. Makes wiping salt water from it very easy, with no lasting damage. Good job too - with 2 fish tanks in the room, it doesn't stay completely dry very often!

Poor Robert :lmao:

It happens a lot... In Barnsley we get called some rather unsavoury names for female couples from time to time (They always get a shock when we turn round and ask them why they think that would be such a bad thing.... They usually run away!).... And on the train a while ago a guy went: "Here ladies, let me help you with those bags!" and then looked horrified when he noticed Robert was a bloke!!

Maybe it's a Rob(ert) thing, although I don't get mistaken for a girl (probably due to my height).

As for that slap, I think I'm going to have to find a way to have you in court for some kind of virtual assault now.

Roberts quite tall.... And often manages to grow a beard in the space of two hours!!

And I shall see you in Virtual court then!!

Yeah it was really. I'm not sure what I expected tbh you know when you have a picture of someone in your head and then you see them for real and think "That's not how I'd imagined them". I have to admit that I did mistake him for a girl too. You two do look like a very sweet couple though :lovestruc

Oh, don't worry! You're not the first and I'm sure you won't be the last!! Neither of us look how people imagine us.... Or so I'm told!! :lmao: Thank you though!!

It's about that time of the evening when DLRP DIS goes silent for a while.

I'm back from work now, so I can commence talking :goodvibes

So, what is everybody up to this evening (apart from ebaying stuff?)

I'm making plans for getting my bunnies!! I can't wait! And listening to the rest of my family having an animated discussion about the great outdoors....

What about y'all??

Oh, if anybody could point me in the direction of somewhere that sells reasonably priced rabbit hutches I'd be delighted!! :goodvibes

Im trying to write that dance generator I spok about before, although I've changed how I want to do it.

I'm trying to make it so you can place the smilies on a grid and build a posh custom dance and have it generate the board code to draw it :thumbsup2

Sounds very interesting.

Indeed. So far, I've got a little grid that you can click on (divided into squares) and then you can click on the little :cool1: picture to add one to that square.

I need to check who owns the rights to the smilies before I can do anything with it. If they're owned by the DIS, then I can't do much with it apart from use it myself :sad1:

Im here now - just got in from work. Been a really long busy day so not sure how long I'll last on here tonight
