I don't think argue is the right term!! 'Fight to Death' more sums it up!!

I saw a gorgeous one at the garden centre a while ago.... All blue, but with a bright blue and red stripe down one side. Really unusual looking....

Males and Females don't fight to the death, only males and other males. Technically, males and males don't fight to the death either; the losing one retreats a safe distance. The problem is, the length of a fish tank is much smaller than "a safe distance".

Males and Females are all over each other when they want to breed. The problem is, the males get cranky when they don't want to breed and pick at the females.

Anyway, my tank contents are:

Freshwater tank (2ft long):

3 Neon Tetras
2 Rummy nose tetras
4 golden tetras
4 black neon tetras
1 male cockatoo cichlid
1 male siamese fighter

Marine tank (3ft long):

1 black/white clownfish
1 saffron goby
1 chalk goby
1 coral banded shrimp

also in the marine tank living on the rock:

1 starfish
1 crab
2 snails
lots of worms

1 bus an hour to Newcastle, and they cut after hours....

Sounds like our service. It's fine if you want to go to Gosport, but almost anywhere else and your better off taking the train instead because the buses go around all the houses.

It's quite easy to go places by train from down here though. London is 1:40 away (Waterloo), or Reading is about 1:20 away, which has really good connections to the rest of the UK.

I don't really even live in the country! If you live out in the country down here, you have to get an infrequent bus to where I am now before you can go anywhere better.

Hellooo I'm back!!!

Cool pics Rob, only had a quick look but will have a good nose when i have 5mins.

We're just waiting for some brownies to cook then we're going to watch Finding Nemo- I've just told Mr Tigger about my plans for have some fish and he likes the idea too hehe.

[A Small World]

Hi Im back as well.
Had a busy day trying to sort DDs new bedroom. Its ended up totally different to what we thought. There was already a bed in but its a high loft bed and she isnt too confident about sleeping in it so we had decided to move her small bed into the room as well. We moved the wrdobe along slightly but it wouldnt quite fit so we ended up moving the wardrobe into what was her room and at the same time moving her bed into the new room. It was chaos with furniture and boxes everywhere but it looks really good so far and shes spending her first night there

We've got the new curtains up and new light shade. shes got her bed shes used to with loads of cushions. All her soft toys have a home and we've/I've started sorting all the rubbish out of boxes to arrange and store properly.
She keeps everything and wont throw anything away so I have to sort it myself and hide things before throwing them out/giving them away. I'll carry on with the sorting tomorrow

mmm brownies. I like straight forward chocolate one personally, although white chocolate ones are also quite nice if you can get them to work properly (I usually fail with those!)

As a proud member of hoarders 'R' us, I am both disgusted and appalled that you would even consider throwing anything of your DD's away

Seriously, I dread to think how much stuff I have around, which of course I need every little item of, just in case...

White chocolate burns much much easier than any other chocolate product... That'll be what makes it difficult...

The bigger problem I find is that the tins need to be slightly different I think, as the white chocolate ones never seem to cook all the way through.
