Hey guys.
My parents & another couple are planning a trip in July to see Mt. Rushmore and Yellowstone.

Does anyone have any recommendations or good info/links on Mt. Rushmore tours?

We went to Mt. Rushmore about 5 years ago. There is SO much to do in the area. The state of South Dakota has really nice travel information if you request it from them.

There is an old train that you take from the town to a neighboring town. Kind of scenic, lots of fun. We saw Abraham Lincoln while we were there, so I had my photo taken with him since I am a native of Illinois.

As for Yellowstone, that's just heaven on earth. Do they have their lodging already reserved for July? If not they may have a shock of not finding anything.

Wow, you must have went a long time ago if you saw Abraham Lincoln there. How old are you anyway????:rotfl2:

They are leaving here (Arkansas) July 13. The have no set reservations. They want to be able to travel leisurely and just stop for a hotel whenever they feel the need for one. They are planning on spending the first night in Iowa, and are spending a couple of nights with mutual friends somewhere along the way. This is an unusual way to travel for me. We like to have a route planned out, with hotels booked in advance. I hope they don't have too many problems finding hotels. :worried:

If they don't have reservations for something in Yellowstone or the neighborhing towns, they may arrive and find nothing available. Same with Mt Rushmore.
