OT...Missing dog in Dartmouth, N.S. UPDATE!!!!

Hi Folks,

This is a huge long shot but you never know...stranger things have happened.

My nephews little dog, a light colored terrier mix, is missing in Dartmouth around the area of Dorthea Ave/ Cole Harbour Rd. They are visiting my inlaws on vacation and are absolutly beside themselves with worry.

If anyone has seen a little female blonde terrier mix with Ormocto, New Brunswick tags please pm me....she's six years old and answers to the name Champ.

Small world though - I grew up around where they are visiting. I lived on Swanton Drive.

Good News!!!! Unbelievably 7 weeks after she went missing my BIL's dog has been reunited with her family!!

Apparently someone had called them right after she went missing, saying they thought they had spotted the dog in their neighborhood but when Animal Control went out to investigate the people who had the dog said it was theirs. The answers they were giving weren't adding up though and Animal Control had problems with these same people before. So unbeknownst to my BIL there was a 7 week investigation, a police search warrent, and FINALLY ... a family reunion.

I'm just blown away. Thank you to everyone who read this and said a prayer for my nephews and for those in the area that kept an eye out.

Great news!
I had no idea animal control was so thorough! We tend to only see reports in the paper when they are investigating cases of abuse that involve large numbers of animals etc.
So great to know that all reports are taken so seriously.
