Posting under a different ID because my 2 kids are on the DIS and I don't want them to know the details.

I have been looking online for info and any online support groups dealing with miscarriage and the only ones I have found are on ivillage. Does anyone know of any groups out there that deal with this type of loss?

:guilty: I recently suffered my 2nd miscarriage (last week) and have found myself in an almost postpartum severe depression and continuing physical symptoms. I have spoken with my physician already but was really just looking for online info that I can read myself about this.

Apologies to the mods if this topic is TMI for the DIS - feel free to delete the thread.

Thanks!

No way is this OT! My goodness, you need support and people to talk to. Please don't overlook the possibility of counseling. There's absolutely nothing bad about needing help.

I'm so, so sorry.

Hi.

I am so sorry you are having to go through all of this.

I know there are boards on babycenter.com for just about everything including loss.

http://bbs.babycenter.com/board/preconception/precongrief/1202012

That is a link directly to the multiple miscarriages board, but I dont know whether the link will go directly there if you are not a member (I am logged in so it works for me but idk since you likely dont have a user id and password).

I know there are a lot of other threads with references to pregnancy/children, so I wanted to make sure to let you know that, as I can understand that may be difficult right now.

I hope you are able to find the support you are needing right now.

Thanks I will check out the Babycenter boards.

I am having to deal with this alone since DH is currently deployed and the last day we saw each other was the day I found out for sure that I was pregnant which was quite a shock but a good one once the surprise factor wore off! I try to maintain a sense of normalcy for the kids sake but once they are off to school I just climb in the bed and stay there until time to pick them up. :sad2:

I have been thru this before but not alone. I know things will get better but dealing with all of it now just seems overwhelming at times.

Thanks for the kind words!

I am sorry for your situation. I had the same situation as you before and was not able to find much info. but good luck.

So very sorry to hear that, MLP. I have no suggestions, but know well this is certainly not off topic, nothing really is here on the CB, and for sure something like this is not. My best for you, and hubby too. Blessings and safety be with him, comfort for you.

I went into a depression after my miscarriage. You are grieving and maybe it is worse because your DH is gone.

I'm sorry for your loss. :(

How awful that you're dealing with this alone. Could you confide in a good friend or relative? I really think that you need support from someone you care about too.

I just wanted to say how sorry I am that you are going through this. I have had 6 miscarriages so I know how you feel. Give yourself time to grieve. Online support may not be enough. You may have to have one-on-one counseling. I know that the hospital in my area offered a support group, maybe you could look into that. Do you have family or a good friend you could talk to? I know it is harder going through this without your DH. My DH was not around for 1 of my miscarriages and it was very hard on me. I know it doesn't look like it now, but hang on, it will get better. Just take care of yourself. :grouphug:

I am so sorry. :grouphug:

I have had two miscarriages myself, and of course everyone's pain is different but I know how much it hurts. It must be even harder with your DH gone. Is there any type of pregnancy loss support group at your local hospital?

Again - I am so very sorry.

The only website I would recommend is sheknows.com although I'm not sure how busy their boards are. They have so many different ones, instead of one getting a lot of action, they all get a little action.

Anyway, I wanted to write and say you can lean on us for support. I think you'd be surprised how many people here have gone through what you have.

I'm sending recovery pixie dust your way. :wizard:

First of all, I am so sorry for your loss - I can't imagine what you must be going through :(

I find the Ovusoft boards have offered me good support with my infertility and IVF - they also have pregnancy loss support and buddy groups.

Hugs to you at this difficult time.

hi, i know your pain. try www.justmommies.com they have several forums and i am sure you can find one to be a part of. everyone there is very supportive.

I am so sorry for your loss. Please make an appointment to see your doctor to get some help as soon as possible. And remember that you can always talk to us here on the DIS. Many of us have faced pregnancy loss, and can offer a sympathetic shoulder. :grouphug:

I second Vettechick with the Sheknows.com message boards.
They have a very large support board for M/C's and other TTC issues.

Best of luck to you, I wish you only the best. I know firsthand the pain of M/C and I know you can and will get through this.

Please speak with your doctor ASAP. They are trained to help with this issue and want to help you - I guarantee it. If you live in the NJ area I can refer you to a wonderful OBGYN if you need someone supportive to talk to.

Hugs to you!
