OT - Minneapolis Child Care

I wrote a bit back about potential relocation to Minneapolis with work - well, I'm moving with DS in a couple weeks. I'll have temporary housing with work in Eden Prairie. DH won't be able to move up with us for at least a couple months, so I urgently need to find child care. Any recommendations from anyone in the Eden Prairie area? DS is 21 months, very social, and I'd like to find some places I can visit next week before enrolling him to start Feb 2nd (assuming they have availability).

Any recommendations greatly appreciated. We tried a New Horizons place a couple weeks back, and DS hated it, so we won't be going there...

At least you are coming from another part of the Midwest so I don't need to warn you about how horribly cold the weather has been lately I don't live in the Cities, but have friends/ family there. I would try a KinderCare center. They are very pre-school oriented, with a good structure and classroom environment as well as good security. Good luck and let us know how it ends up.

Thanks! I'm here in Minneapolis today, and it is VERY cold! I have an appoitment next week to tour a KinderCare, so I'll see how that goes.

We go to Kindercare, and have been very happy with them. We have been at 2 different Kindercare centers in the Metro area. No issues with either. We have had great directors and teachers. We live in Hudson and there wasn't a center close to us. So, we enrolled our kids in Woodbury. Just last year Hudson opened a Kindercare.
Our first daycare was New Horizon, and we really liked it. When we moved we checked out the closest New Horizon. We hated it. I was surprised how different they were. That's why we ended up at Kindercare.
