In our schools we have to give 3 points of contact. So the school would have went down the list :) I hope you shamed the parent ;)

We have a list of contacts we have to go down, tried home and there was no reply so got Mum on her mobile (next number down), she was shopping in a nearby town (around 15 minutes away), this was half past one. I explained that we had a problem with the fuse box, had no power and we had to close pre-school down and we needed the children picked up as soon as possible, obviously twenty to three was the earliest she felt she needed to come (we finish at three ten!).
She kicked up a fuss when she realised her child was the last one left on her own, I just politely explained that everyone else had managed to get there within half an hour!! (she had finished her shopping, gone home, put it all way and then walked to pre-school!)
What was apparent yesterday was how many out of date telephone numbers we have even though parents are asked every half term to update them! Another letter has gone out today expressing the importance of someone being available at all times.
The good thing is that it was all one big game for the children which is how it should be, my daughter is a nanny for one of the little boys concerned yesterday and she had to wait til I got home before she knew all the details as he hadn't a clue!.

Good evening everybody,

Just sorting the last few bits and pieces now. I've not decided yet whether I can be bothered with going to bed yet as we have to leave home at about 3 / 3:30am as our flight is 7am, so it would only be a couple of hours sleep.

I'm looking forward to all the snow though - there's still a whole metre of it on the slopes apparently.

I'll have the laptop with me as usual, so hopefully I'll be able to get some internet and say hello to you all at some point during the week.

The skiing world cup is in town this weekend, so it should be really good (but busy) and then should quieten down from monday.

I'm just heading off to bed but just wanted to say have a great time Rob!

Afternoon everyone.

This is so frustrating. We have up to 7 numbers for a child (home, mum mobile, dad mobile, mum work, dad work + 2 emergency contacts) yet when something happens, we can find not ONE of those numbers is the correct one. And yes, they are asked to update regularly, but some parents don't bother return the form. Then you have some poor child who has just been sick (or worse, with an upset stomach :scared1: ) and nobody can be reached to come and collect them.

Hope everybody is fine this day - it's quiet, so I guess you are all doing more exciting things. :)

Evening all,
I just got back from the cinema where I saw Bolt 3D, very funny! Not I know how my hamster gets out of his ball! I am feeling really full now though as we went to Frankie and Bennys for dinner after the movie!!

I've been a bit freaked out this afternoon.... A while ago, one of Josh's (Robert's brother's) friends (We'll call him 'L' for this) added me on facebook. I accepted to be polite (I didn't want to refuse incase he thought Josh had said something bad about him or whatever... He's a pretty agressive, touchy kind of lad and basically, I didn't want to get on the wrong side of him.)..... A couple of weeks ago, he started talking to me on facebook chat one night. I chatted back, again being polite. However, he seemed to have got a bit too attached to me, through this one conversation, and it was making me uncomfortable, so I started ignoring him and forgot about him.

Until this afternoon. Robert was on the phone to his Mum, and she said: "Whats this about L being invited to the wedding?" Robert went mad and told her he wasn't. Sharon (Robert's mum) said: "Well, L has told Josh Robyn invited him to the wedding." I was really scared at this point as I didn't. He jokingly suggested coming, but I ignored him (As I believe its kinder in a way to ignore it than say: "You aren't coming, you aren't invited!").... Robert told her in no uncertain terms that this is not the case as I'm actually fairly scared of how attached he seems to have got to me (Despite never having met me). I've been feeling sick with worry about it. Sharon and Jonathan (Robert's Dad) have said they'll make sure L knows when he visits at Easter that he isn't coming to the wedding, and Josh has promised me that he'll set things straight with L the next time he talks to him, also apologising profusely for whats happened..... It feels a little bit like being stalked, but online, if that makes sense to any of you? I literally talked to him online for five minutes and he seems alarmingly attached to me, but not in a good way.... In a slightly obsessive way. Needless to say, I've removed him as a friend on facebook now and I hope I never have to meet him.... That'll teach me for trying to save peoples feelings! :sad2:

Good evening everybody,

We've arrived safely and luckily for me, our hotel offers free wifi which can be picked up in the bar and reception areas.

Not done much today - we dont get our lift passes until tomorrow and I didn't feel like walking up the slope to board down again. WE've got a few things done though - picked up everybody elses equipment (I own my stuff) and also hired a sledge, plus we've booked our extra activities for the week (we're visiting Lake Bled which is a gorgeous town / lake near by, plus I'm trying cross country skiing and going Schnapps tasting).

The weather's caught me out again - it's very warm in the day despite all the snow - there's enough around that they've crafted a maze out of snow :goodvibes

Poor Bob, how scary!

That's good though that Roberts parernts are going to talk to the guy, hopefully you wont ever have to meet him!!

I was really scared so I made Robert ring his Mum and Dad back and explain why I was so freaked out and why it was important they talked to him. I know that if he did turn up on the day though he'd be sharply gotten rid of.... Luckily, quite a few of the blokes coming to our wedding are huge and would cart him off quite quickly!

Online stalking is scary, something i seem to have a certificate in LOL.

But on a serious note, good that you deleted him of your FB Bob. Hope he doesnt trouble you again
