I got quite sentimental while ironing his uniform the other night.

It's horrible isn't it, i dreaded my Daughter finishing 6th form as i knew it would only be a few months before she flew the nest.
When she went off to Uni i felt completely lost, i cried on and off for days. I still miss her terribly now.

evening all! i'm so happy i handed in my dissertation today woohoo!

I hand mine in in a few weeks..... Then I just need to do two essays!!! Then I never have to go back ever ever ever!!!

It must be a scary feeling. What are you plans now?
I'm feeling a bit weird that my son will be finished school in just over 2 months time. His last exam is on 20 May and after that he's done. I got quite sentimental while ironing his uniform the other night.

I haven't a clue to be honest, I feel at abit of a loose end at the moment.

I have got my Dissertation still to finish which is due in after Easter, and than exams in May.

You seem happy about it I have been looking forward to this point and now it has arrived I feel really mixed feelings about it, I feel happy that no more stress over essays and sad that it ending aswell as nervous about what I am going to do next.

I may sound really horrid - but my son is doing NO work at all for his exams, so I really can't imagine him getting a place at Uni. I may be in for a big shock if he actually gets enough points to go to Dundee, as he wants.

haha, i've got 1 more piece of coursework, 4 exams and a presentation then i'm free!!! bring on may 28th!

you people are so lucky - I'm not free from uni until about August some time and don't get to enjoy graduating until November

i feel the same i just can't wait to get out of uni! i'll miss all my friends but i can't wait to finish this course!

I have felt like that so many times thinking why am I putting mysefl through this, it feels strange now its coming to an end. I am so happy I don't have to do any more presentations - I hated them.

Yeah, had an okay day. Took Adam to the library for some sing-song lol and then had lunch at the cafe there. Am feeling a bit rough at the moment. Hope I'm not coming down with anything (again) - am blaming it on getting caught in a sudden downpour yesterday afternoon when getting Louise from school. Was soaked through (even with coat) and I was so cold walking back home in the rain. We (or I) have to drive to Exeter on Sat for a surprise birthday party in the evening - we don't really want to go but have to really... and drive all the way back again on Sunday.
