For my dd for Christmas :santa: !! I'm so excited to see her face Christmas morning!! I was having a hard time figuring out her "big" present this year and I saw it on the Today Show the other morning.
Other than Moon Sand and Baby Alive there wasn't that much that she was asking for...I hope she's as excited as me about it!
:goodvibes

My DD was drooling over that the other night! She was saying how unfair it is that they didn't have that out when she was young, she's 14. I told her it would be unfair then to 'cause she wouldn't have got it then either. That baby is EXPENSIVE !!! You have a mighty lucky young lady if she is getting that and other presents. I hope she likes it, it is cute, but it is too expensive for most people.

I actually got it less than the $299 as advertised..which basically isn't much more expensive than an iPod Nano or fancy play system game for the TV! She doesn't have or will have either of those.

Good for you! I start shopping in August so that I can make sure that I have the money to get DS everything that he wants. I believe in teaching DS the true meaning of the season, but I also love seeing how excited he gets when Santa brings him just what he wants!!!!!!!!

I hope your DD loves it!

:goodvibes Every year I say I'm going to start early and it feels so good to finally do it. I buy something each week as I can afford and it's not that HUGE bill all at one time. I'm a christmas eve baby and I get the spirit very early and I guess I passed it on to her. She talks of Christmas ALL THE TIME! Can't wait!! :goodvibes

I was wondering if anybody else has pre-ordered one of these?

I let the lady at Toys R Us talk me into it this afternoon. She said their pre-orders are going fast and it could be hard to get one without blah blah blah. Who knows whether or not it is true. She did get two phone calls about it while I was there. I had to put $40 down, but I still haven't decided whether or not to actually buy. I guess they are in October 29th at our Toys R Us

The price though. :sad2:

The price, AND, do I really want a Shetland pony sized fake animal taking up all that space in my family room????

For those interested, it's only $269 at Target.com instead of $299.
