We've been to Great Wolf Lodge and love it. We want to go another indoor water park on Canadian Thanksgiving. I think there are 3 more. Any recommendations? Where do you stay?

Fallsview Waterpark (fallsviewwaterpark.com) in association with the Sheraton on the Falls, Brock Plaza, Skyline Inn (all indoor connected) and the Hampton Inn which is across the street. Pretty good waterpark... no lazy river I think. Good if you are part of the Sheraton rewards program or Hilton rewards program though. Americana Hotel (americananiagara.com). Motel with indoor waterpark... smaller waterpark, not as large variety of slides...wave pool and water playhouse. Least expensive.

We went to Fallsview indoor park on July 1st weekend and had a blast at the park. There is a great kids area, some larger slides and a wave pool :thumbsup2

Just don't stay at the Skyline. We had a terrible experience there. DH and I got almost no sleep because the family in the room above us must have been having a basketball tournement or something. We called down to the front desk and they said they sent someone up but it didn't stop until about 2am and then started again about 6am. Now our kids are both really heavy sleepers so they slept through it all and that is the only reason we stayed the whole night there.

Sorry, totally went off there. Anyway Fallsview was fun and we would go there again.

OT - any body have any ideas on getting a deal on a rate at Great Wolf for a weekend getaway with DS? Also, is Marineland fairly close - could we do it as a day trip?? Sad that I live in Toronto and do not know this! LOL

Just keep checking the web site for offers. Some people were mailed coupons to use. I signed up for email offers but haven't received anything yet. There is a howling rate discount which you can book for future return visits but they often won't book that over the phone, just at the hotel. If you can avoid weekends, then the rate is lower.

marineland is on the other side of the city from where Great Wolf Lodge is. You can drive it in 15 or 20 minutes I think. I called for a day pass for the water park as I am a local and they told me they don't sell day pass's and the cheapest room they had was $349.:confused3 :lmao:

We used to visit the Americana a LOT! The water park is very nice. Only a couple of large slides, but I enjoy the tropical feel. S
