Any other places you buy printer ink???

I'm running through tubs of the stuff weekly. After long distrusting third-party, I can now highly recommend these folks:

http://www.printpal.com/

Their pricing is real good one some stuff (marginal on others, depends on your printer). They sell refurbed, refilled cartridges, and send you a package to send back your spent cartidge. Do so, it helps them keep costs down. I've never, ever had a problem with one of their cartidges, and they last longer. Folks like HP fill the cartridge as prescribed, but leave a lot of open space. Printpal fills them to safe capacity.

Hope that helps!

One thing to keep in mind is the archival life of the aftermarket inks. If you are printing photos you want to make sure that they have the long archival life that some of printer manu. do.

I would rather pay a few cents more for the long archival life then save a few pennies because the aftermarket ink is cheaper.

Excellent point........As an IS consultant, I recommend aftermarket, but make the following point: when you're pumping out the ink (B&W, and if your color cartridge gets chewed up pretty fast, like in a 30 to 60 day period), then aftermarket is a great bargain. However, if you're one of these folks that's either printing your own photos on hard stock paper or if you change your color cartridge about once a year, suck it up and buy the manufacturer's cartridge. Excellent point!
