OT~ I got free pearl earrings!

We had a new mall open up in town a few months ago. My DH got a card in the mail from Helzberg Diamonds offering him a free pair of pearl earrings~ no strings attached. We also got a few coupons for free glass wipes from Lens Crafters so my DD went yesterday with coupons in hand. The salesman at the jewelry store asked her to fill out a card with name/address and then handed her a bag with the earring. I'm sure that they are not great quality but they are set in 14k gold.



DH laughed when she got home and handed them to me saying that he was going to give them to me for my b-day. He didn't even know about the offer (not the he would ever have gone in to get them because I know that he wouldn't. He hates to use coupons!).

They did the same thing when they opened here in Boise. My mom got a pair and has been really happy with them. They are great quality considering they are free.

They did the same thing here when they opened at our mall. I love my free pair of pearl earrings! LOL They are nice quality and I've worn them a few times. I'm not a big fan of pearls or I would wear them more. Helzberg also does free jewelry cleaning, just an fyi.

I got this same card yesterday. I think I will have my DH swing by there for me..on his way home from work. I see it as a gift to give someone.

They even come in a suede-like drawstring bag so could easily be a gift. I put mine on in the car LOL

Really?? That would make a GREAT gift!! Was it a postcard or was it in the catalog? We got a catalog on Saturday but there was no free pearl offer in it....

It looked like a Christmas card, but could easily be mistaken for junk mail. It wouldn't hurt to ask at the store, they might give you a pair anyway.
