OT: how to add a profile pic?

Or a pic in your soggy? I've tried both but the profile pic always says the file is too big. What is the max size?

At the top of the forum on the right side you will see your name. Click on it. Second choice is avatar. Voila!

The OP's problem is that she's trying to use pictures that are too big, not that she can't figure out how to do it.

Try resizing them, should work then.

Picture size must be smaller than 1MB.

You'll need to have 10 posts before you can add an avatar or signature.

Thank you so much. We just got back from WDW and I have a lot I want to contribute. Can't wait to learn all the fancy animation stuff. Have been a lurker on the site for far to long and decided to get active in the conversation.

If you head over to the Test Board http://www.disboards.com/forums/test-board.88/ you can post on one of the threads there some random thoughts (one at a time) to up your post count.

Once you've reached 10 posts, it does take the system a little bit to recognize it (30-60 minutes). Then you can add an avatar, create a signature and have private conversations with others on DISboards.
