Hi- my girls get higlights & on the back there are some offers. One is for Top Secret Adventures which is about different countries & the other is for Which Way USA about the states. My girls would like to do this & it looks interesting - Has anyone done this? Is it worth it? Is it hard to cancel when they are tired of it? Thanks for any insight/info!

We got the Top Secret Adventures kits for several months. I thought they were wonderful and my DD9 enjoyed looking thru the book, doing the puzzles, etc. After the 4th or 5th one she didn't have the same level of enthusiasm, so I cancelled w/o any problems.

Last Christmas she got the Top Secret Adventures game, which we were just playing yesterday. You're on a mission to collect countries, 'suspects' and stolen treasure, so you have to look at the map to answer questions to get more playing cards. I would recommend this as a fun geography learning game.

For a while I also got the math puzzles books from Highlights. I think these are great quality and a good idea for gift ideas for your kids or nieces/nephews.

I would recommend Highlights books/games/toys to anyone. Ask them for a holiday catalog.

Thanks- I think we are going to do it - they are really into Australia which can be the first country - All 3 can share.
And they are also into the states so owrst comes to worst we do a few months! Thanks again!

bumping to see if anyone else has done this! Thanks!

We had the Top Secret Adventures (I think that is when they travel the world, right?) but IMO it as too difficult for my dd to do & she is a smart girl (vs me who isn't). I think we had them when she was around 5.

Now we get the states & I think they are easier & she is 7 now & I think she should learn about the US first since that is our home.

And I cancelled the Top Secret Adventures by writting on my payment stub to not send anymore.

I teach 3rd grade and I'm doing a mystery theme this year. The geography game sounds great! Do you think I could play it whole group with my class? Or, is it easy enough to understand that they could play in small groups? Thanks!
