Did I read on an earlier post that you're going to be a Dad, or did I imagine that? If so, Congratulations and keep us up-to-date on the up-coming little Colson39 Jr.;)

Ahhhh, children. There's nothing quite like 'em (to give you gray hair and take all your money). Hmmm, 'course you'd have to HAVE hair.

Hah! Yes, you are correct, we are expecting our first :)

So far everything is going smoothly, although she is getting sicker more often than not lately. We go for an ultrasound next week, so we are excited about that. I have some pictures already that I've been meaning to upload to the Off Topic thread, hopefully I can get to it this weekend. Thanks for asking!

And I can't tell you how much money I've saved on haircuts, I've been shaving my head since I was 21, I hate getting a haircut ;) Oh, and it helps with that baldness thing too...lol

Big CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!:cool1: :thumbsup2 :woohoo: :woohoo: :yay: :yay: :goodvibes

When is the bundle due???

April's a great time to have a kid! We have a LOT of April birthday's in our family~~ And he/she will be old enough to spend her first Christmas at the FORT!!!:yay:

lol, my parents took me to Disney when I was just a few weeks old. My mom said people would give her stares like "How can you bring such a young baby here". My mom would just say to my dad, why woudln't you want to bring a baby to the happiest place on earth!

I know we'll be continuing in the tradition, probably not a few weeks after, but I plan on starting the Disney tradition early and often ;)

I can't believe how life goes in circles. I came into this life with no hair, and now it looks like I will leave it the same way. God's cruel joke on me, no doubt.;)

YaY for Colson!! Another little Ft. Wilderness camper on the way!!! One can never be too young or too old to camp at the Fort!! :thumbsup2

Congrats to the new Mom & Dad!! :cloud9:

No worries, you look great bald and your lovely wife has enough hair for you both. ;)

Yay for you both! All kidding aside, there's nothing like having children. Raising children is the best and hardest job in the world. The second hardest is teaching them. :lmao: And some days, the order of these two jobs can flip-flop! Today - teaching middle school English was harder than parenting my own two. What is so hard about "direct objects"? :confused3

Congratulations to you both. My youngest son was six weeks old when he first visited Disney. Of course we had a 4 year old and and 11 year old siblings who weren't about to wait for him to grow up for a visit. He's 16 now..and we've been going to Disney ever since..and he still loves it. See what happens when you start them young! Disney was made for families...and camping makes it so much easier with all the comforts of home in your RV.

Congratulations on your great news. Best wishes to you and the mom to be. You are always so helpful on this board. With your fun loving spirit, you'll make a great daddy.

I took 3 of my kids to WDW the first time when they were 1 (2 on their 1st bday). ds7 was there when he was 3 months old. The oldest any of mine were for their first trip was 6 (poor thing). He is hooked and wants to be an imagineer. He is 16 now and has been back enough to almost make up for waiting so long for his 1st trip.

Bringing babies is a wonderful thing, especially easy if you are nursing. LOL No bottles to deal with. I have to say that I have nursed on just about every ride feasible.

You two have so many wonderful memories ahead of you. It is awesome to see WDW through your child's eyes. Everything is so fresh and new no matter how many times you have been. I now find myself watching my kids sometimes instead of the show. Oh, you have so much to look forward to.

Congrats again!!!!

The quote above says it all. One suggestion: make sure that you get new cameras before the baby is born and you'll be able to record every movement without "technical problems". During the holidays, show the "best of" movies.

Best wishes and good health!

Thank you all so much for all your wishes!

It's going to be great being able to expose one of my own children to the wonders of Disney and Fort Wilderness. Of course, if we have a boy, it won't be long until he gets his first "Fort Musket". Who knows, maybe 10 years from now he/she will join us here on the DIS!! ;)

If you start now, you'll have them all picked out by April. Good luck and best wishes!
