OT Help w kid friendly dining in Guelph

Hey!

Do you know which end of Guelph you're going to be? Is there anything specific your kids like?

We will be travelling through from Niagara Falls to Owen Sound, so we could take Victoria Road, Gordon or Hanlon (sp?)

We have East Sides, King's Buffet and Boston Pizza at home, so something different would be a nice change.

I would prefer to avoid dowtown, or where parking is difficult.

Casey's is there - right opposite Stone Road Mall. They have lots of choices on their menu. Enjoy wherever you end up going!

It's dinner you're looking for?

We have a Cora's that opened a few months ago, but they serve breakfast and lunch. You'd be driving right past it.

If you're coming from Niagara Falls, taking exit 299 through Guelph would connect you directly with #6 Hwy.

There's a Montana's, Milestones and Moxie's on Stone Road (south end as your coming into Guelph). A Swiss Chalet and a Pizza Hut as well.

At the north end (just as you connect with #6), there's a Boston Pizza, Kelsey's and Golden Griddle on Woodlawn Road.

Kid friendly would be kelsey's or Montana's. I would not take them to a milestones.
If you want to check out any of there menus here is the link

They are all owned by the same organization.

The Golden Griddle on the corner of Hwy 6 and Woodlawn was very kid friendly when we were there last. It wasn't expensive either compared to Milestones or Kelsey's.

Golden Griddle is a good suggestion if it isn't someplace you frequent often at home.

There is also a place called Eggcetera on Victoria Road. They are breakfast place/ deli and their desserts are yummy!

If you're looking for something a little more upscale, but still kid friendly, there is a place called Greek Garden, which is on the corner of Victoria and York Roads. The servers there have always been great with our kids. DH and I often share the platters and end up with leftovers.

Hey OP!

Was wondering where you ended up eating? Hope it was good! :thumbsup2

Duh....just realized it's March Break now! My bad! lol

We went to Moxies and it was really good.
They had a March Break special: kids eat free with an adult meal. It was a pleasant surprise. They also got a fun dessert.

Thanks for all the suggestions.:)

That's awesome! You can't beat that! :)
