OT - Help needed from moms of 4yo boys

My 4yo loves Diego and anything to do with animals.

Oh, good grief YES! DH bought a tub of these to play a prank at work, and when it was all over, he brought them home for DS, who was 5yo at the time. I have been stepping on them and vacuuming them for over a year now! They are all over the house. DS lines them up on the headboard of his bed when he goes to sleep, and even sleeps with one in his hand. He makes up stories about each one. One looked like he was injured and lying down, and DS said, "Mama, you know what he's doing?"

Oh, dear, what do I say? "Um, no, what is he doing?" and DS said, "He is taking a rest at the pool, and then he's going to go swimming." Oh, thank goodness!

I forgot all about those stupid things. And how could I? They are everywhere. My boys line them up, set up intense battle scenes and then use balls rolling back and forth to decide which "team" won. They even hide them under/behind other toys/objects because "they are waiting in ambush". And, of course, I keep some in a plastic bag in the diaper bag when we go out to eat--pull them out for the older two & I barely notice they're with us. It is such intense playing--and imaginitive!! Thumbs up to this one.
