Wow - I just wrote out the last check I'll have to write for preschool. As much as I love the idea of no more tuition, I'm getting all teary-eyed! :sad1:

Heaven help me in September when my "baby" gets on the school bus with her big brother!

Aww, It's nice she's off to the next Chapter in her life. Save your tears, no need to use them all now, there are so many Chapters ahead :goodvibes

I know how you feel! I cried on my "baby's" (who is now 17) last day of preschool and actually threw myself on the couch and sobbed her first day of kindergarten. I don't know what I will do when she graduates from high school next year!

My step son is going to be five in a couple weeks...his feet are getting so big and he's growing like a weed. I found one of his baby socks today, one I'd tucked away in my scrapbooking stuff. I cried myself silly. He was so little and such a cuddle bug. Now he's such a big boy. I can't even believe how quickly the time is just FLYING by. He'll start kindergarten this fall. No more nursery school. I better hurry up and have a baby of my own so I don't go through withdrawl for too long!:cutie:

If how much I love my step son is any indication of how I will feel about my own child, I am in TROUBLE.

I'm with you all the way!!!

I know how you feel. Pre-school and kindergarten with my son and daughter seems just like yesterday. I can remember clearly (as if it were yesterday) when my son was climbing on the bus for his first day of school. His backpack was bigger than him. I stood their holding my 2 year old daughter (putting on the bravest face I had........ the whole time I had a lump in my throat the size of a baseball!) As the bus drove away and he was waving to me, I waved back. As soon as he was out of sight, down came my tears !!:sad1: There went my baby!! Well, guess what? He just turned 14 yesterday!! And he brought home a letter today that he has Freshman orientation on April 19th for High School!! I can't believe it!! Where does the time go? :confused3 I have to brag now and say what a wonderful young man he is turning out to be!! And my beautiful daughter will be 10 in June. So, I agree that there our so many milestones in their childhoods that seem to come up so fast!! There is nothing better than being a Mom, is there?!:cheer2:

Aw, we are going through the same thing. My little one is marching around the house singing about how she is ready for kindergarten. I'm not sure I am ready for kindergarten! They are so much stronger and braver than us!

I love parents like you all....I enjoyed the peace and quiet. No tears for me!

I signed my oldest up for Kindergarten the other day. I can't believe in September he will be gone all day! When did he get so big? I thought I was going to throw up at registration.:sad1:

I can relate. My daughter started kindergarten the same day my stepson started high school. Getting them both off to school that day was a definite tearjerker. They grow up much too fast. DD is now in 6th grade and DSS is a junior in college but it seems like yesterday that they were babies.

I have 4 kids from toddler to teen and 2 in between. They do grow up way too fast and it does go by way too quickly. I try to treasure each moment. I wish I could freeze time as I too get sad as my babies grow. On the other hand, I love seeing them grow up too. I just wish time would pass slower. I am right with you. {{HUGS}} Kim

Thanks! You all are making me feel so much better, or at least more normal, lol!

I was okay when #2 son went to Kindergarten, but a wrek when oldest son went. The year I am totally dreading is this...Oldest will be a Senior in High School, Middle will be in eighth grade, and the baby will be in Kindergarten. Or wait, maybe the year that oldest will be a Senior in college, and middle will be a senior in High School. Oh my god, who the heck started this thread:guilty:
