OT: Go Diego Go!

I know this is NON Disney..but my daughter LOVES this new show!! Anyone else's kids raving about Diego?? And has anyone been able to find any Diego toys yet..or know when they come out?? Or maybe a Halloween costume??

My DS (3) loves this show, it is a spin off from Dora (did not know if you knew that).

I have not seen an specific toys for this, but it would be great especially if since my DS also loves animals.

My DD3 loves this show. We have a few episodes Tivo'd and she wants to watch them over and over again.
At Walmart they have a playset that is the Animal Rescue Center. It looks really cute.

So, my DD is not the only Diego-nut! She has always loved Dora, and her favorite episodes were the ones with Diego. Now he has his own show....she is in HEAVEN!! We, too, have Tivo'd every episode and have transferred then to DVD to she can watch them in the car! It is a very cute show! We saw the rescue center playset at Target.

Does it count that I like "Go Diego, Go" much better than "Dora"!

My 2 year old is a Dora nut but we came across Diego's new show the other day and my older daughter (almost 4) liked Diego's new show better. But she's not a Diego nut yet. I keep trying to get her to watch it more!

Who else loves the Backyardagains? My oldest flips for them!

We have Diego and Backyardigan nuts here!

DD4 told me Diego is SO much better than Dora and now talks about three toed sloths non-stop They had Diego party supplies at the party store the other day but haven't seen much in stores yet--I'm sure it is all coming

As for the Backyardigans--they are finally starting to respond to the marketing demand! We were in Kohls yesterday and they have boy and girls Backyardigan clothing and the girls got Uniqua and Tasha panties (they were SO excited)!!!!! We listen to the CD non-stop in the car

I like both shows--it makes it so much easier when the show is something you actually enjoy watching with them. With the Backyardigans we try to learn the choreography and dance to the shows now

We have a saying in our house Go Diego Go = Crack for kids....haha.. (sorry if some of you don't think that is funny) Anyway, my DS LOVES LOVES LOVES this show. He wants a rescue pack for Christmas... I don't think they have any toys for him yet?

DS (2) LOVES Diego. We've found a few toys/puzzles/games with Diego and Dora at Target. I know there are a couple figurines with Diego that go with the Dora sets. I'm still looking for Backyardigan things!

Oooooh yeah! My son adores Diego. The other day we found a Diego & Baby Jaguar figure toy for Dora's dollhouse. He loves them and plays with them all the time. The only thing that makes him mad is that Diego isn't wearing his rescue pack. He has an animal computer but no rescue pack!

I personally think the only reason they made the show is for marketing. My little boys always loved Dora, but I'm sure a lot of parents of boys will not by them Dora stuff. I think the only reason they came up with Go Diego Go is so parents of little boys can buy all the stuff.

That being said, my little guys love it. My DS4 was pretending to be Diego yesterday, using his mickey backpack as his rescue backpack trying to save his brother, who had to pretend to be different animals in trouble. It was pretty cute. About the Backyardicans, I love the show, but my boys are that interested. I love the songs and dancing, I love the concept. Oh well, guess I have to watch it on my own time. The love lazy town though! Go Nick Jr., Go!

My son (2) loves Diego, too. He keeps putting on his sister's backpack to pretend it's a rescue pack, and pretending our cat is a baby jaguar

DS (3) loves Diego. He just recently discovered Dora and he likes her but he likes Diego a lot more. DS is an animal nut anyway so the fact that Diego rescues animals is a huge plus for him.

Both of mine (DS almost 4 & DD 2) love Diego - we've spent the last few days pretending to be Diego and carrying a "rescue pack" (which I made the mistake of calling backpack-did I get a lecture!) - I spotted some Diego related toys in Kohl's the other day but I don't remember which ones
