Our snow quickly turned to rain - but it is still freezing out

I live very central, so its a few degrees warmer than outlying areas - the pollution keeps me warm

DS1 was not impressed by our 'snow' this morning - he had to wait on the station 50mins this morning for the train to turn up

Does DS1 take the trains regularly? That sounds like standard train service to me

Yes every day but they are usually quite good and regular.

Then that's not a train

Either that, or your trains are not managed by company F, who are never on time as far as my experience can tell... I used to use company F every day and maybe 50% of the trains I took would be late

Is anybody else doing anything for the breast cancer charity pink day on Friday?

Somebody in work managed to get it approved to let us all get away with wearing pink into work, plus we have no customers in that day, so can dress accordingly

If I'd known I would have bought pink accessories for my witch outfit! How could I forget??! I shall wear my Pink dress during the day though....

One year we organised a Pink Day at school and we all wore pink jammies! That was ace fun!

Now that sounds fun. Unfortunately, I don't think we would get away with wearing pink pyjamas - especially as it's also somebody's last day so we shall be visiting a local drinking establishment in their honour after work
