Morning!!

Well here in the Highlands we have a wee bit snow!!! Yip proper snow!!!:goodvibes Im so excited!! Its time to get the earflap hats out!!!:rotfl: Its all soooooo pretty here right now!

I keep hoping that we will get enough snow here in Kent so that I can grab my snowboard out and hit the hills

:wave2: Morning.

Did Kyra have a good 3rd Birthday yesterday?

Yeah she did :) thanks.

I wanted to ask how much did it cost you in petrol to get to DLP and back. Seeing as you went from where im going from aswell, felt like you was the best person to ask:lmao:

Thats good then. Glad she had a great time.

That's putting my memory to good use!! Ok, well we go from Dover to Dunkerque on Norfolkline as the ferrys are far nicer, cheaper and quieter than either P&O or Seafrance.

From Dunkerque to the Santa Fe Hotel at DLRP is 322km (201miles)
From Gillingham to Dover is 45 miles

Cost of fuel is approx £35 and tolls are approx 13-18 euros depending on time of day.

We filled up once at Sainsburys before leaving and that lasted us the whole journey plus the entire time at DLRP driving to and from the campsite everyday. We then filled up again before we left and that lasted the journey home plus another week.

If you budget for 1 tank there and 1 tank home plus 20euros each way for tolls then you will be more than ok.

We are going via eurotunnel more than likely.

Was that £35 each way or did it cover both ways? We get a tank full of petrol with the car. Karen will use some of it driving down from Nothampton to pick us up.

I'm only going to have 250-300euros max on this trip, just want to make sure i budget properly or me and Kyra will starve lol!

you can always fall back on happy meals!!;)

Morning people.

I feel like blah! :(

Me too Emma, up half the night coughing then woke up with a gigantic headache (which is refusing to budge!)
Off to the doctors in half an hour (not for the cold etc.,) for my regular monthly blood pressure etc., check. Got a list of things to do over half term that I never seem to find time for when I'm working and I'm struggling to find the energy to do them.
Hope you feel better soon!

Thats not bad, so im hoping £50 each not including tolls.

It doesnt help my stressing when the CSA are late with my monthly payment. I won't get it till next week and im stressing as i need to pay £188 to DLP for January by the 6th Nov.

Yeah that should be about right.

The CSA are about as useful as a chocolate ashtray aren't they!
