How has everyone's day been?

Good thanks, after many years of getting fed up with my job I actually feel a little more enthusiastic about it.

Had a nice quiet day. One was at school and the other at nursery. I do love my Tuesdays & Thursdays lol.

We had a staff meeting tonight and this year we have moved to topic based learning and today we were setting the topics for the rest of the year. I am now planning what trips I want to take my kids on this year! We are doing the seaside (so planning a trip there!), Aztecs (Cadburys world as the Aztecs invented chocolate!!), Castles (OK I'm thinking I can't take them to see the Disney castles of the world so we will go to Warwick!!), Tudors (Sulgrave Manor, the ancestoral home of George Washington which is a fab trip!) Plus we are doing improving our school grounds so we are making a school garden, growing veg and planting flowers etc! This should be a good year!!

I'm warming up nicely now with a hot drink. Good result tonight (6 - 2 win) so the singing and clapping kept us warm for some of the time!
