Ooo, did I mention my books for my dissertation arrived this morning?? I've got 3 books (£50!):

-The Monstrous Feminine (Not about Disney, but about the portayal of Mosntrous Women...)
-Good Girls and Wicked Witches- Women in Disney's Feature Films.
-From Mouse to Mermaid- The Politics of Film, Gender, and Culture.....

I'm actually looking forward to getting some more research underway!

They have some, but not very many. It's small compensation though for how much Northumbria has messed me around....

I honestly feel like I've chucked 9 grand in a hole going to Northumbria.... The degree isn't the one I signed up to do, and if you complain you just get ignored...

At the moment my BIL and SIL are here visiting with our nephew and we were just discussing christmas gifts to oneanother. We have decided that our nephew can stay with grandma and grandad for the day (they will like that as they live 2 hours away from him so don't get to see him often) and we are going to go to Claridges for lunch together!! I've wanted to do that for ages!! Then maybe we will catch a show too!
