My DD is going on a school trip to Italy in the fall...I know nice eh?? All we did was go to Ottawa...now no offence to Ottawa my son is a huge Sens fan...anyways...lol

I wanted to send her with a front loaded credit card. now apparenly in Italy, you can't use any credit card that requires a pin???? Does anyone know where I can find one of these cards?? I deal with PC and apparently they don't offer them.

Thank you

Kim

I am not sure what a front loaded credit card is, but I know that Zehrs sells Visa gift cards that are accepted like credit cards. I am not sure about currency exchange etc. I would make sure she also had some euros.

Maybe your best bet would be to call a travel agent and see what they recommend for your needs. I know CAA is very helpful in this regard.

Do you mean like a pre paid card? They sell them at price chopper and at pharma plus. Also if you have a visa or mastercard yourself you can add your daughter as an authorized user to your account, which gives her access to your credit limit. In regards to the pin I know visa is now offerring the chip card(with the pin number) you just have to request one. Hope this helps!

BMO has a prepaid mastercard. You can have it linked to Airmiles if you collect those.

I would just get my DD a card from my own account as a PP mentioned.

Another option would be travellers cheques.
