OT- Favorite FL beach with teens

Looking to do a beach vacation in April with 3 kids ages 10, 14, and 15. Looking for a really nice swimmablw beach with other fun activities nearby. Also like to have a pool available as well. Looking for either a condo or a resort with a 2 bedroom option that won't break the bank. We don't have flights booked yet so open to any area in FL.

Look at Tradewinds at St Pete Beach or any surrounding resorts. We stay at a small boutique hotel (Postcard Inn) a few hotels down all the time and my teens enjoy it. Lots of beach to explore and just across from hotel is 7-11, dunkin donuts, chick-fil-a, ice cream shops, waffle house, Publix, beach stores, etc. Use google maps to explore what is around these resorts. It’s also a short drive to Johns Pass.

Alden Suites is popular and near Tradewinds where the kids can walk to Tradewinds and pay for the water island, jet skis, etc.

Not walkable Tradewinds (because it’s in Clearwater, FL) but worth mentioning... very nice and popular is Sheraton Sand Key Resort. It’s a little more out of the way.

We stayed at the Dolphin Beach resort on ST Petes. It was walkable to store, shops,. We had two teens and they really enjoyed it.

We stayed first week in November 2015 the price was approx 1/2 of a prime time vacation.

The Weather and Water Temperature were good.
