OT-Fairmont Jasper

Wondering if anyone here knows: We will be visiting Jasper in Mid Dec, we wont be staying at the Fairmont (too cheap haha)
Does anyone know if we can pay to go tobogganing/ice skating there if not a guest? What about the campfire?

Any other ideas for special "Christmas " things Dec 16-18?

I believe it's only for guests, but Pyramid Lake is open to the public for skating etc and I personally think it is a much better setting.
Not a "Christmas" thing but the ice walk at Maligne Canyon is beautiful - you can go with a guide or if you are confident with hiking etc you can just park at the Fifth Bridge and walk your way up the path
