OT-expensive shipping at OneShare.com!

Wow! I wanted to purchase a Disney share for each of my daughter's for their birthdays, both in May. After I entered all the information and was going to checkout, they wanted $25 in shipping charges for each one! It's a piece of PAPER!
I didn't order the frame or matte, just the certificate. I can't believe it's the same order but they want $25 for each certificate! Does that sound right?
I'm in Canada but I know it's only about $1.00 to send a large envelope from the U.S. to here...right?
I cancelled the order because I wasn't going to pay $50 for two pieces of paper to be mailed to my home. NOT FAIR!

I just needed to vent!

Are they charging you for insurance or delivery confirmation or other extras? As a true share of stock it's worth money so they're probably charging you for some options based on its value. That would be my guess.

I just ordered one for a First Communion Gift. I used the $10 off mousesavers coupon so that offset the shipping, but even here in the states they charged 10.88 to ship it. As someone who ships ALL the time, it's 5 bucks for a flat rate envelope with delivery conf, so they are making a little on the S&H rates, for me to ship a flat rate env to canada costs $11, so yes, 25 is quite spendy. Here's how mine worked out:
