OT: DS Special skills dog ruptured ACL

His poor girl completely ruptured her other ACL. (1st leg was in 2008)
Her TPLO surgery was 2 weeks ago and she is putting her leg down now a bit - good!
DS has been very worried about her - of course, we canceled our upcoming trip for the end of August. She needs lots of love and rehab now. Never a dull moment!

I'm glad you're giving her the love and help she needs now. I hope she feels better soon.

We went through that with our old dog. It wasn't long and she was up and running along with our other dogs. She got along well.

I hope the same goes for your pup.

Thanks everyone for your get well wishes!
Day by day, she is doing better, but it is a slow recovery process.
Started water - treadmill therapy - I expect her to be walking pretty good by October.
Perhaps DS & I will take a quick trip to WDW early Dec. I've read on the boards, the holiday decorations are lovely and we have never visited at that time.
