Ot ~ Don't Forget To Vote Today!

Well I wrote a note on teh back of my ballott not that it is likeley that anyone will read it but I was voicing my distaste of the parties. All I know is that the Conservatives who I used to be a solid supporter of have driven me from ever wanting to support them again. The thought of opening the floor to try and overturn teh same sex marriage laws are stupid why should same sex couples be discounted like this. Why should they not be privy to the same things my wife and I are it is a step backwards AFAIAC. I called their campain headquarters after they called to solicit my vote I asked what their stance was on a few issues and the local office couldn't answer my questions and provided me the 800 number to the national office. I was appauled to hear they want to open the floor for discussion on allowing more private healthcare alowing a 2 tiered system rather than that put some effort into our current system and get it back on track. Sorry for the rant but there is no way I can ever vote for them while Harper is leader of that party he is a Reform man not a Conservative and I didn't care for them when they were thier own party now they have soured the PC party.
