OT - Disney Store taking Finding Nemo pre-orders!

Just wanted to let other Finding Nemo fans know that DS is taking pre-orders for the November 3rd release. I got an email today from online about the offer. No discount though.

Kind of funny though that they have it coming out so soon because around here it's still out in the big theaters. Guess this is gonna be the big release for the holiday season.

I also got this email too and thought it was coming out on video soon! I am glad though because my kids really loved this movie, so this will be an easy Xmas gift!!

Just an FYI that if you wait to order it from the store (they start to take orders 8/26), then you'll get the 4 lithos plus a $10 gift card if you spend $50

Also, you'll be able to pick it up on the release date and if you order it online, they can't ship it until the release date.....

Thanks, Liv2CdWorld on the DS information. I'll wait and order it at the store when the kids go back to school. My first trip to the mall kidless to start Xmas shopping.

I gotta get done early this year because we get back from Disney on 12/23 and I have to have everything wrapped and ready to go before we leave!

I'm hoping they have another good release this year before the holidays so I can each DD a new DVD to open. Gotta make them want to share.

I was just at DS yesterday. I pre-ordered the Lion King special edition and got the 4 lithos and a $10 gift card.

They are taking orders for Stitch and Sleeping Beauty also (with one free litho but no gift card).

I am hoping that we will be going back in December (waiting for AP rates). If we do go, I'll need to start my shopping too. DS's birthday is ON Christmas - but we usually have a party the week before.

I went to my DS yesterday (forgot the ticket for my Piglet movie, ugh!!!) but I was able to pre-order Lion King (with lithos and $10 gift card) plus Stich (with litho) and Sleeping Beauty (with lithos and $10 gift card). I'm collecting the gift cards. The lithos I wish I started years ago, but never thought to. Guess there's always ebay for those...
I also got some cool Nemo discounted stuff!

were the $10 gift cards included with the pre-order of both Nemo and Lion King so you got one for each one you pre-ordered? Just trying to see if I should try to get there sooner so I can get $20 worth of gift cards for pre-ordering both.

I also have my 2 nieces that I can buy for too. My brother and sister in law just got divorced and he lives at my mom's now so he's in the process of getting them their collection for when he has the girls. I could really rack up some spending for Christmas.

You can get the $10 gift card for Lion King and Sleeping Beauty. I think you'll need to spend $50 EACH.

Starting August 26th, you can preorder Nemo and if you spend $50 you'll get the $10 gift card.

Thanks for the clarification. I thought they were starting to take Nemo orders too. I could do enough damage though with the Lion King and Sleeping Beauty. My version of SB is taped so the real thing on DVD for my DD's would be great.

My oldest when she was 3 watched it so much at her grandmothers she knew the scenes and would act them out. I would come from work to pick her up and she would be lying on the couch with a blanket on her and my MIL would say "she's sleeping waiting for her prince to come and wake her." It was so cute!

I'll just have to keep my brother from buying them one of them until I give it to them. He does just about anything to keep them still for 15 minutes these days.
