OT: Disney Movie Club members

Please help. 2 times now DMC has charged me for and sent me movies I did not order. The first time it was The Little Mermaid, which I already own so I sent it back and asked for a different DVD (I figured it was easier than asking for a refund). This time I got POTC 2, which I had been meaning to buy, but it's bugging me how they can just charge me $25 whenever they feel like it. I've only been a member for a few months and I've only paid full price for those 3 movies.

What can I do to get them to stop?

They send you the selection of the month or Featured Title if you don't decline it. Right now it's Cars

You can decline it by mail ,phone or On-line.

When you get your mailer it will be on the main card what the selection is and how long you have to decline it.

I go on-line once a week and check there very easy to decline it there as well.

I buy when they have $0 shipping and a sale and only then.

You should be getting a monthly mailer asking you to respond by a certain date to decline your feature title. If you don't respond and decline the movie, they'll automatically ship it and bill you for it. If you've declined it and they're still billing you...then I have no clue. Good luck.

I always preferred to do the online decline of the featured title of the month. There was a time when I know I mailed the card but for some reason got the title anyway. Probably the card got lost either in the mail or somewhere at the DMC. As soon as I received the mailer, I just responded online and that never happened again.

I also decline online, but if I don't see the mailer &/or forget to respond & get a package from them in the mail & know that I didn't order it.....I refuse the package & watch my VISA. I also get an email that they received my package back & have credited my card. They have been really good about that. NO problems for me at all.

I do respond to my Feature Titles online. I don't remember Little Mermaid being one, but if it was, I know I declined right away since I already own it.

The decision for Cars isn't due until April 9th, but I was charged for a movie at the end of March. I just assumed they sent me Cars. But when the package came in the mail, it was POTC 2, which was not a Featured Title. If it was, I never got and e-mail or snail mail about it. I decided to keep it, because I hadn't bought it yet.

I then a few days later I accepted Cars. It should be on its way now.

I just don't want them to think they can pick any movie and send it to me without asking me in an e-mail or it being a Featured Title.

PotC was the Feature before Cars .

They did have a system upgrade and I couldn't decline it on-line. I then forgot to call and was sent that . i sent it back with no poroblem and the did refund me before I even had the return packageing slip.

So maybe it's part of the system they upgraded and are fixing some of the missing mailers we should all be getting.
