This is way off topic but.....
My DD5 started a new school today and I am really nervous to pick her up. I really want it to have gone well.
We had to move her because they accelerated her a grade in her last school. She was 5yrs and in Grade 2. I know that is crazy especially since it was in her second language, French. We were pressured into making a quick decision and I am kicking myself for letting them have her in Grade 2 for 3 months. I am a teacher and actually do research at the local faculty of Education. I have now learned that even when research says something is best....trust your gut and look closely to see who they are saying it is best for. (I am telling my imaginary friends since it is hard to complain about having an advance child without seeming like you are bragging.)
She started in Grade one today.....please send pixie dust this way......
