OT - Costume birthday party ideas?

Hi!

My son will turn 9 at the end of September. We were thinking of doing a costume party. He wants to have a Darth Vader theme.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm not sure about the costume party idea. It will be family only so there will be about 8 kids.

We did that a few years ago and everyone had a great time. Kids dressed in costumes and so did a few adults. It is easy to find small halloween items that time of year so party bags were so easy and inexpensive. I made a kitty litter cake which tastes great, but really looks like a litter box complete with poop (melted tootsie rolls). You can really do great games and it is easy and cheap.
