OT-Costco Travel

Hi all,

I am asking this because I have been reading the boards for quite a while and have seen costco travel being mentioned quite a bit regarding ABD bookings. While we would love to do an ABD, its out of our price range for the time being, but we hope to do one sooner rather than later. We were hoping to take a Disney cruise in 2013. But to our dismay, prices on opening day were 1500 more for the same cruise, cabin type and date was listed in the first weeks of 2012, for a family of four. With that much money we can add the five nights at the parks that we want to. Sooo, we have pretty much decided on WDW then a Royal Caribbean Cruise. I have a wonderful TA that specializes in Disney, but they do not work much with RC. I found that Costco offers pretty good shipboard credit. Anybody have any experience with Costco travel for cruises? Or can lead me towards a good TA that has these types of booking incentives?

Hi there! Hopefully people who have used TA's for Royal Caribbean will chime in here.

If you don't get any responses, you may want to check out cruisecritic.com, they have a whole section for each cruiseline, including RCL, and you'll probably find some good information there. They won't be able to help you much with the Disney questions, though.

Thank you for responding sayhello! I tried asking on the RCI board on cruise critic, but I can't ask anything there regarding TAs nor can I ask people to private mail me regarding them . I wasn't even specific to Costco and asked about about discount wholesale stores and my post was still deleted .

Very bummed about DCL, (and ABD) but I always try to be glass half full, and hope that one day we will be able to make it happen!
