What is your number 1 all-time-favorite comfort food? ;)

Nutella. On a spoon. Right out of the jar. :woohoo:

Only 1!! I have a few!
I guess my all time favorite food would be ice cream. I am unable to eat it right now due to a baby with a dairy allergy. boy do I miss it.

I would also be wrong to not include warm not fully baked chocolate chip cookies. Does life get any better.

turkey and dressing
chicken soup
....most home-made soups....they all mean "home" and take me right back to my childhood!

my MIL's homemade chili or yeast rolls, my mom's homemade fudge and my grandmother's homemade fried apple pies. great, now i'm hungry, lol.

well, i'm not quite sure HOW she makes them, i THINK there's canned apple pie filling involved, but i'm pretty certain the crust is homemade. all i do know for sure is that she folds them over into a half-moon shape, crimps edges w/ a fork and fries them. she makes peach fried pies too, and both are to DIE for! if i had one right now i'd send it through the screen to you!

Oh, how I wish you could e-mail me one! :goodvibes How does she fry them?

i'd have to ask, but i'm sure there's crisco or butter involved, lol. we're from alabama, so we're talking southern home cookin' here. :thumbsup2

I love Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, chicken noodle soup with the big egg noodles, and pepsi. Yup, pepsi. I don't know what it is, but if someone said you can have anything to eat or drink in the whole world, I would choose pepsi. LOL

The best sweet potato casserole EVER (first had it at a college Thanksgiving party), mashed potatoes, and Kraft mac and cheese...but only the kind that is fun shapes (like Spongebob and Scooby Doo!) It's just better! :rotfl2:

I can't pick just one.
Homemade mac and cheese
Meatloaf and mashed potatoes
Pot roast and mashed potatoes
Mashed potatoes and mashed potaoes
In case you didn't notice I like me some carbs.

Gumbo, no okra, plus real french bread, served hot. (I've never liked okra; it's slimy.)

Doesn't really matter if it is chicken/sausage or seafood, as long as it is meaty and has a good dark roux.
