Not sure where this post would go...But I was just looking at rooms to go dot com and found bedroom sets, Mickey Mouse etc, but the NICEST one I found was a Disney Princess set that is the Cinderella Carriage as a bed frame! GORGEOUS!!!

Hope I can post this photo here....then go check it out @ the site.

I posted about this bed a while back.. it is gorgeous!! i tried to get my dd to buy one but she wouldn't :confused3 it comes in full and twin sizes.

My 3 yr old DD pointed to this one at the showroom! LOL! We aren't ready to buy her a "real" bed yet (just a mattress on a frame for now) but it is sooooo tempting! It would take up the whole room!!

That is so pretty!

Is it weird for an 18 year old to want that? :teeth: I could set it up in my dorm room.

Wow, I made the mistake of looking at this thread earlier with my 5 year old and she's begging me for it. I bet it's not cheap!

My little girl turned 5 this summer and we just bought this for her first "big girl" bed. She absolutely loves it!

The carriage bed, bedframe, canopy frame and tulle canopy are 499 for the twin but only a hundred dollars more gets you the full.

One thing that you have to think about is how to live with a bed that doesn't really back up to a wall - it has to stand in the middle of the room.

The fact that the canopy slopes inward makes it difficult to figure out how to put a bedside light. I solved the problem by getting a styrofoam florist wreath from Michaels and wrapping those little white Christmas lights around it (in a plain ivy garland) and hung it with wire under the circle at the top of the canopy, then I wrapped a switch extension cord with silver duct tape and used fancy "wedding favor" twist ties (also from Michaels) to make the silver cord conform to the inner arch of the canopy. When it is lit the little christmas lights make enough soft light to read a story in bed and they give the canopy a nice little glow from within.

I figured that when she outgrows the canopy we can take the frame off and still have an attractive bed frame.

What a great idea!!! You're so creative! :artist:

This set is even more gorgeous in person.. Me and DF went looking at furniture a few months back and saw it on the floor of the furniture store showroom.. I remember looking at it thinking the price wasnt bad, but I dont remember now what it was.. DD8 is a tomboy and she wouldnt go for it.. but if it was a Buzz Lightyear bed she'd jump on it! :teeth:
